As mentioned in a previous post, I’ve recently found myself pondering the manifestation of dreams. Last weekend I decided I wanted to break down the formula for the “recipe for happiness and success” in the simplest of ways, to create a kind of mantra for myself… some words to live by, if you will. I then created this little graphic to embed those words/that idea visually my mind, before taking it a step further and actually putting it into practice.
A day later, after literally waking up from a dream about a possible direction my life could take (towards something that moves and excites me), I jumped online to find out what I could do to make this dream a reality.
Doors opened immediately.
This “process” never ceases to amaze me!
I’m a little sad that Deepak Chopra’s current Meditation Experience, Finding Your Flow, will be ending in a few days, but hopefully I will be able to maintain a consistent meditation practice moving forward, even if it involves just 10 minutes per day of stillness.
If it is true that the answers we seek are within us, surely we must be quiet if we wish to hear them…
MM xx

So true, Miss Marizipan! Stillness and meditation are vital – and I should try and incorporate them consistently into my life, too. I’m so glad you are moving towards something that moves and excites you. That’s how it should be. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Absolutely! 🙂 I do try to follow my heart generally… and have actually never been happier or more “comfortable in my own skin” (as some say) than I am today, however I feel I need to take a big leap of faith right now and really just go for it 😀 Best wishes to you! xxxx

‘we must be quiet if we wish to hear them’ ; so well said.

Thank you 🙂 Someone once told me that prayer was asking and meditation was listening. Meditation and stillness are kind of the same thing for me… and I definitely think that listening is key right now (well, always… but now in particular) 🙂 xx

Mmm; that’s an interesting thought about prayer and meditation. I like that, too.

So, so true… those things we need to ‘still’ are so quiet, at times, we almost don’t appreciate they are even there! Like judgment and belief structures we’ve been carrying around with us forever. Those things can sometimes be the quietest, and yet the most harmful.
What a wonderful post… Talk about synchronicity, as you mentioned..!
You are indeed a gem… 🙂

Oh you should grab a copy of Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway, it is a brilliant book and I think you would just love it at this stage…

Really keen to check it out now! Thanks for the tip 🙂 xxx

Dream and Do!!! Profoundly simple, yet it takes our full engagement. We seek the approval of others before we look into our hearts. I am with you – let us dance, sing, dream & do! <3

So true! Ugh! I am done with people-pleasing. The amount of head miles I have done over what others think of me…
Well, I am letting my heart lead the way now! My best wishes to you! <3

Meditation is something I really struggle with, but the sentiment still resonates all the same… I love your little notes of inspiration. 🙂

Thank you, Hannah x! I know some people are able to find a quiet place within themselves seemingly effortlessly… I have never been one of them, lol 😉 I guess **attempting** to do meditation (albeit in a condensed and somewhat amateurish way) is my stab a giving stillness a go 😀 There must be thousands of ways to be mindful, however! xxx

Awesome, dear MM: quoting good ol’ Walt Disney, “if you can dream it, you can do it!” 😉 Glad to hear things are turning out the way you wish, and best of luck with your projects!

Thank you so much, Stefano! You’re very kind! I love that quote… so much so, I put it on my visualisation mood board for 2013 😀 Best wishes to you and yours!
