Creamy oat and quinoa porridge- a perfect start to the day


1 dl organic oats and quinoa
2.5 dl water
A tiny pinch of salt
3-5 tbsp dried fruit
1 tbsp of raw agave syrup
1 tbsp soy lecithin granules (optional)
1 tbsp organic linseeds
1-2 dl organic rice or soya milk


  1. In a small saucepan, on a medium heat, cook oats and quinoa (plus linseeds and pinch of salt) in water for around 3 minutes.
  2. Turn down heat and add remaining ingredients including rice/soya milk to reach desired consistency.
  3. Serve in a bowl and eat immediately.

This recipe is highly adaptable. Regular organic oats can be used instead of an oat and quinoa mix, linseeds could be omitted or replaced by other seeds, lecithin is entirely optional (but good for breast-feeding mums), almonds can add a little crunch/texture, a sprinkle of ground ginger or cinnamon could be lovely too… so many options!
